ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: Developed in the 1930 by Sanford Meisner- an American born actor and acting teacher. Meisner believed that acting is the ability to behave absolutely truthfully under the imaginary circumstance. That actually doing would always be more
effective and simpler for actors than pretending to do. In the workshop we will go thru the Meisner Technique starting with Repetition, which is the foundation the technique is built on and is the best known exercises. This teaches the actor to react truthfully, allowing repetition to change naturally rather then by manipulation.

ABOUT FACILITATOR: Shivani Tanksale is a theatre actor and  director. She has studied at Prague film school. Shivani has acted in various plays 'The Vagina Monologues, 12 angry Jurors,The President is Coming She have featured in over 40 commercials.After working in various plays and advertisements, she acted in many successful Bollywood films like Talaash, The Dirty Picture, Zed Plus. She has also won best actress for her role in a short film called Siblings
